Thank you, you clever people. The H&H vibes have worked again. I CAN go to hickstead tomorrow and meet my old friend.

At 4.00 approx I had a call from the garage to say they had found the fault with my car and had fixed it. It was something to do with a hole in a pipe/tube/hose. (You can tell I'm not mechanically minded) and they have fixed it for me.And they fixed the slow puncture I had.
Thank you all. I'm sure it was your vibes and support that won the day.

Can't spend too much as had to pay the nice garage man. Never mind. at least I can go now.
If anyone in the Northants area wants a recommendation for a garage I'll gladly recommend them. They were brilliant.
