(sound on!) ..."one, two, weeee!"
I can't remember the last time I jumped. Possibly it wasn't even this year. There was a point after my share ended where I thought I might have to give up completely because of being nervous. I never thought I'd get back to this point. Not a single nervous bit all lesson and I genuinely think if my instructor had said to put the jump up I would have gladly given it a go. All the watching of other people's lessons/competing must have osmosis'd it's way into me I think as got good feedback on jump position (including my lower legs, whaaaat!) and making good turns/being straigh to the jumps. Granted we did just do big trot over most of them but we got a few 'pops' over as well. Who cares, it was just so fun and I am so happy!
Flat lesson tomorrow might seem a bit boring now! (jokes...)
