That they are really friendly towards humans and nice and forgiving. If my 2 grandchildren come over and run towards the fence the "child's pony" walks off but my big Morgan comes over and hangs his head over the fence so they can stroke and pat his head. No food involved. He just likes the fuss and attention and is just a nice friendly horse.

Like when he went into holiday livery, the YO said she wished that all horses were like him, as there wouldn't be the problem horses around.

Yes please give us a photo! I have a Morgan yearling. He is quite a cheeky chappy and very friendly with me but not so sure about strangers! He is very intelligent (I may be biased!) and seems pretty chilled out so far.

He sounds like a dream! My (sadly passed) RID was the same, so gentle and loved kids. My livery manager at the time used to say she was going to "vet" the horses coming in on livery based on how well behaved he was.

Definately need pics!

Yeah, I love Rosita Hamar's horses, if I had land I dare say I would love a baby from my Gummi and Mossrose Triumphant. I'm really quite impressed with a lot of the Morgans and their people outside of the US.

I used to look after a Morgan years ago (about 25 at least), she used to event in America and moved over with her owner and retired here. She was very sweet and gentle though very strong willed if she set her mind to it.
