as title really!
My best friend and owner of private yard where we keep our horses has been on holiday for the last 10 days, and I always do the yard whilst she is away.
Now I am no shirker of hard work but I AM BLOOMIN glad she just got home!!
10 horses
4 dogs
3 cats
1 hay delivery

later and I am knackered!
my job involves working from 8am to 6pm so have been getting up at 4.30 to muck all out, walk dogs tidy up feed, get showered and work a couple.(lunging mostly)
My friend has checked them during the day, but then it starts all over again at 6 after work
It is going to be wonderful to only have half the work and go back to getting up a 5.45.
Sorry, but all of you will know how this feels!
Anyway - I think I will be giving my mate a very big hug to let her know I am glad she is back!! hahaha
 
Bless her she will- we help each other out, its a really nice scenario really- we both really trust each other and it saves us a fortune in kennels costs etc
 
Blimey. Stuff the hug I would want a LARGE glass of wine lol. It is nice when you can do this. I know I can go away and my 2 dogs, 2 horses and 10 cats are wonderfully looked after. Then when my friend is off I have her lot to look after. I am currently looking after 2 whippets along with my 2 labs.

Its great to have a good reliable friends.
 
Didn't you do well!! Where on earth did you find the time?!? Your friend is very, very lucky to have a mate like you. I hope she appreciates you and returns the favour when you need a holiday - which I imagine will be very soon!!!
