my friend did that the other week so ur not alone i didnt notice either till she said er wats wrong with my reins
 


You're not alone, I've done that too & poor Sunny turned her head to look at me as much as to say "What are you on?!" She was also very good. She actually just stopped dead & wouldn't move until I'd sorted it out. We were in the school & I think she got sick of the mixed signals

You're certainly not the first and wont be the last to do something like that.... I do things like that all the time.
My chesnut gelding is ace too.... our farm ride reopened for summer today, so took him round it with two of his mates tonight and whilst they were bucking, sqealing, rearing and carting off, he just stood there and looked at them as if to say 'I cant be arsed', then gave the other two nutters a lead over all the jumps! Bless em, you can't beat an honest ponio!!
 
I do have a lovely chestnut boy..only had him 4 months and he's young so hasn't really proved his honesty yet but he's a total sweetie, he talks to me on the yard all the time - I'm sure he's telling me to hurry up and stop faffing about!

I was at a local point to point one day and as the horses came out of the paddock and went down to the start one looked as if it was trying to go left handed through the fencing and into the crowd. You could see the jockey was pulling really hard on his right rein to stop it. It took a minute or so for someone on the ground to realise that he had his reins crossed over!!!

PMSL! I wondered why F sudenly started bouncing up and down instead of forward in canter when warming up at a show a month or so back - turns out I'd got the 2 pelham reins the wrong way around in one hand by accident so had been acting on the curb unknowingly
