You go to the supermarket and pull a face at the cost of the anti-inflammatory cream for yourself, despite the fact your neck, shoulder and arm has been agony since Thursday but happily pay £8.50 for turmeric tablets for the dog because the vet thinks it’s a good idea.

Yep, I didn’t get the cream for me (it was £2.50) but Rufus will start the turmeric tomorrow :)

Ted has his groomer appointments booked in at regularly 10 week intervals, £30 odd quid a time and I last had my hair done umm... 9 months ago?? Because frankly who has the time money or inclination for that.. ?

When you drop 250 big ones on some tablets, ear drops, shampoo and a consult with the 'Gucci' vet a week before payday.
The full set of x-rays I had a year ago were only marginally more expensive ?
(He is good, and I was extremely paranoid that it was something much more serious, grumble grumble grumble)
