I stupidly clicked on 'on time' when I actually tend to pay before the due date. I usually pay as soon as I get the bill simply because I worry I'll forget altogether if I don't.

When I kept my horse at livery I always paid on time, but since I moved to my sisters it does slip a bit..... but she is my sister.

hehehe

just read your SB post - I was honest in the poll and said 'mostly on time' but sometimes a little late but i would like to add that i was never owing more than £100 for more than a few days!!!

$15000 is outrageus!

**i will always pay on time in future... i will always pay on time in future...i will always pay on time in future**

I clicked other. I don't know the date it is "due" as we just pay the farmer when we see him

I am always late, think i am the only one in the poll, i usually pay a week or two after i get bill, but YO doesn't mind

Normally pay on time, but as I work shift, so am not always up the yard, it is sometimes a few days late, but never more than a week.

Our bills are supposed to be given to us on the 1st of the month for the following months livery. Bill does not usually get to us until at last the 12th or 13th and I don't get paid until the 24th. YM is a friend (luckily) so he is happy for me to pay at end of month in arrears instead of up front so it does get paid on time in that , that is when he expects it but should really be paid a whole month earlier!!!

I pay mine roughly on time, not because I have not got the money but because they YO want paying in cash and I always forget to go to the cash point, its only ever a day or two late. YO was very laid back about it though

I put on the due date as we get a invoice and have 14 days to pay it so we will always pay with in those 14 days.

we get charged every month so for me the invoice is delivered on the 5th each month, i pay £65 for the next months rent (in advance) + hay/straw from the previous month (in arrears).

i keep track of how much hay/straw i order so i know roughly how much i owe but dont pay before due date as i wait for the bill to be left for me.
I usually get my bill on the 5th & pay on the 6th/7th

I put "other" as we usually get billed on the 1st of the month for the previous month, but sometimes the bill is late. We then have 7 days to pay, and I usually pay the day after/ the next day/ as soon as I see my YO (don't want to leave the cheque lying around). I always try to pay ASAP though. Cheques don't get cashed until about the 20th of the month though!

I said on day due! We are given them weekly on a friday evening on sat morning and I leave cheque sometime over the weekend so that YO can bank on Monday on her weekly trip! If i'm away over a weekend I pay two weeks together the following week or give YO a blank cheque in her name. only a couple times (in 6 years) have I been late and thats normally due to forgetting cheque book! LOL

i usually pay beginning each month for that month-however due to unfortunate cercumstances have gotten behind before though i did catch up. i now pay at the end of each week for the week just gone.!

As I get paid and on the 25th of the month and my livery is due on the first I always pay early. It's rare for someone to pay theirs before me!!!! I just find it easier to budget if Neddies allowance is out of my account as soon as possible.

I can pay monthly...but I prefer to pay each wek. I always pay on Sunday by cheque & I seek out the YO to pay him, Can't do direct debit, my bill is different each week depending what i've had.
The paying weekly thing is just psychological.......seems alot less paying each week than each month

It works for me & YO is happy aswell...he's out of pocket for less time than if I was a monthly payer.

Mine was 4 weekly in advance, but I have reorganised by my YO to pay monthly in advance. Usually bang on time, this month I am doing some improvements to the buildings in leiu of payment (he gets the receipts) so the total will come in a bit later
