Why in the world would anyone PAY £25 a week to sort out a large out of control (for whatever reason) beastie like this...

Oh, and you will be vetted! am I the only one that thinks this person might be living in cloud cuckoo land - I thought the way it generally worked if you had 'issues' with your horse, is that YOU pay somebody else to help not the other way round... But maybe that's just me

when my sharer rode my school mistress she paid £x per month, now that my mare has gone my sharer helps me ride my other ' not so easy' horses, but for no charge........I do not understand why a sharer would want to pay to ride a difficult horse.

Well friends, i just feel sorry for the horse. She had him for 2 years, says ok for just a week, now says only recently has problems? Story doesn't fit. Wish she'd sent him back to previous owners after first week.
Reminds me why i've never, ever sold a horse!!
All bests to forum friends, BS x

She is obviously at a loss at what to do. At least she is not trying to sell him on....yet. It seems to me as it's pain somewhere, especially if you come down hard on his back he bolts off. She may do better by dropping the 'fee' i wouldn't pay either!

The 'gung ho' teenagers would be my worry. And I don't understand why its heartbreaking either - if this was my horse, I would want the problems addressed and would do everything in my power to see that they were but i wouldn't call it 'heartbreaking'.

If I were to have problems that I couldn't deal with, I would want to find an experienced professional with a solid reputation and bankrupt myself to pay for it.
