Mind you, pet owners are quite happy to pay £5.00 for a little bag of hay at Tesco's when they can get a bale for £3.50!

The girl who keeps her pony at my field pays about £7.00 for a little "pet size" bag of Readigrass for her rabbit and I keep telling her, for £3 more, she can get the HUGE bale of Readigrass AND feed her pony too!

Exactly! The lady where I keep my horses has guinea pigs and asked me to pick up a bag of woodchips for her. I came back with a bale for £6.20 and she showed me the tiny bag she pays £5.99 for - you could have fit it all in a carrier bag. Talk about rip off!
