.......... H is rather large!! As commented on by my friend who is staying atm, my reaction was of course, 'no shite Sherlock'
She is used to flat bred TB's, not WB crosses, having been in Newmarket for the past 2yrs and Kentucky for the previous 4. We measured H yesterday and he is 14.2 and 1/4 inches
at 9 months old - though technically a yearling now. I mean he's bound to be big right? B was 4 1/2 weeks premature and has grown to just shy of 16.2hh, her dam was 17hh and her sire 17.1hh, so it's possibly fair to say, that had she been carried full term, then she would have grown more. H's Dad, although only just over 16hh, has thrown a couple of LARGE horses out of 15.2's! Thoughts please.
