Hi
Does anyone have any recommendations for backing a young horse in the south east and has anyone had a horse started by Jason Webb? Particularly would like to get someone who would get them confidently out hacking as it is busy round us. The other option would be to find someone who could come to us in Surrey if that was possible. I hope the horse will go onto event but obviously that is some way off. Thanks for any recommendations/advice.

Sam Castle in Eastry Kent is very good. Look up castle stud, she is also on facebook.
Does quite a bit of backing and sells a small number of top class show jumpers a year.

I can highly recommend Jason Webb. Although he didn't start my horse, I've had lessons with him. I have regular lessons with his associate and former assistant trainer, Tom Mitchell (T M Equine Services). Tom may be able to come to you as he travels and I can't stress enough how great he's been with my somewhat tricky horse! I'm happy to have a chat with you about my experiences with either of you like?
