Young stock or assisted grass livery needed west of Glasgow

Due to job relocation I need to find a place for my yearling. He’s being gelded this week, and I’d be hoping to move in November.

We will be near Dunoon but livery there is impossible to find, so I need to consider the mainland. Anywhere between Gourock and Largs, plus inland within reason, and able to do daily checks as required.

If I can’t find anything I’ll need to rehome him. Any suggestions appreciated, thanks.

While I searching for a place for a two-year old, I found a fair few yards in Ayrshire. Most were too far from northwest Glasgow, where I live, but they might have taken youngsters.

I think Gryffeside now do grass livery but I'm not 100% sure.

I was advised on here to try stud farms. I had no success at that whatsoever, but it's worth a shot.

When did Dunoon become an island?? Apologies..tongue in cheek..I known you mean over the other side using the ferry… I have seen yards advertised Kilmalcolm/Dalry/Irvine and there are a couple of dealers down that way whose name I forget now (import from Ireland on a low key basis) ..I have family in Ardrossan I ll ask…otherwise Central Scotland livery yards might be useful…
