Youngest Age to put a Mare in foal?

As title says really, 3 year old native mare and I’m debating whether to cover this year to foal at 4 or next year to foal at 5...
Opinions?

A lot of people cover 3yos. It depends on how physically and mentally mature she is. If she is up to scratch I wouldn't see why not but If she is a bit immature for her age I would leave her be another year.

Agree with the above. I've often covered well furnished 3 yr olds or precocious ones, but not those who are backwards.
