youngster growing - tiredness ?

Shy has been very lethargic the last week, so I measured him, and he has grown 1/2 inch in about 10 days. I assume that the growth spurt has worn him out - does this sound right ? he's three, 14.2 hh, and has levelled his weight out now at 408 kilos. Just curious really.

Lord always sleeps when he is growing He tends to lay down in the stable a lot

Mine is the same....still having the odd growth spurt now aged 5 the other day I had to get him to stand up in the field before I could lead him in it was noon!

The thing I have found since we started to seriously train him is how mentally tired he gets, physically fine but after 20 mins his little brain is fried and the yawning starts...bless
