Got a super little 3yo Section B on Saturday, played about lungeing / long reining him Mon and Tue. Today it was such a nice day and he was so chilled, I got on him and he was a total star about it. Walked about on the lead for a bit then off it. Steering bit of an issue but he was so chilled

Well done. Not that I have much experience of sitting on youngsters for the first time - but once helped a friend with a young 17hh part shire. He led the horse, Charlie, round with me lying over his back and as he was as quiet as a mouse I gently moved my leg over him so I was sitting on his back. After a couple more laps of the school, my friend who was leading him said ' If you feel confident, try sitting up on him!' Charlie hadn't flinched at all so my friend hadn't noticed I'd been sitting up on him for the last 2 laps. He continued to be a real star and still is as steady as a rock.
Good luck with your baby!

Yeah, hopefully he'll stay a good boy and follow "Charlie's" footsteps! I do feel like he might keel over with my weight though, poor boy. Im not exactly tiny especially for a 13.2hh but I do plan to bribe a small rider to compete him soon...
