What supplements do you use? I'd like to feed supplement with some happy hoof and garlic rather than buckets full of mix's or cubes. I'd be interested in your suggestions.

OK. I feed everything under 3 yo Equistro MegaBase Junior, then when they start work they either go onto MegaBase or recommended dose of cubes/mix or a combination of some mix/cubes and MegaBase.
It works out not very expensive.

They keep changing the names and add ingredients all the time, it's hard to keep up lol. Chondril is called Flexadin, Mesomed is Mesoflex, and Triforce didn't use to have a name.
They do it to confuse me

I don't want to be feeding large amounts hence the need for a sup.

My 18 month old filly gets Baileys stud balancer - 3 cups per day at the moment - which gives her all she needs. I am paranoid about making sure she has a balanced diet to prevent any developmental problems. If you dont even want to try a balancer I would suggest at minimum to try a good quality comprehensive vit and min supplement with some chaff - eg topspec or dodson and horrell both do good ones. Good luck
