I am in the process of bringing my 6 yr old back into work after many niggly little injuries that kept him off work since about July last year. I'm doing ground work with him at the moment before hopefully getting back on in a few weeks. The problem is, he tends to toss his head around when I am lunging him. He also used to do it under saddle. He seems to do it when enjoying himself especially when we do pole work and so it looks to me like he is doing it out of exuberance. I really don't think it's pain related, his teeth were done a couple of months ago, physio was out on Saturday just for a check up and he'll toss his head on the lunge without a saddle. So, I was just wondering how to prevent this behaviour? If anyone else has had this problem and can offer some advice I would appreciate it - Thanks!
