I've got that horrible feeling when you come home from a bad riding session and end up trying to disect everything to pieces

twig had absolutely no manners or attention whatsoever tonight, my bum may as well have had a 1000 volts through it the way she was rushing off, any attemps at half halt were merely ignored or she ended up throwing her head around, we had very little of anything that resembled harmony tonight! although we managed the most fantastic elevated lengthened trot (not that i ever asked for it!)

Fair enough give twig her due we have to school in the middle of a stubble field, there was a gale force wind and she hasnt been ridden all week as she was kicked earlier in the week. she was certainly challenging! Lets hope a bit more work this week will settle her down again! anyone elses horses been a bit flighty this weekend?

yep i had that on friday night! thought I would just do a nice quick 20 mins running through my dressage test for Allerton PN on Saturday seeing as she'd had quite a hard week. Yeah right!! YO had parked lorry outside school which caused the most ridiculous dramatics, so much for practising dressage, she spent most of the time trying to bog off whilst doing enormous spooks every time we came within 20 feet of the lorry...

I managed a grand total of 1 circle in canter without her p***ing off and changing legs!
