Has anyone had a youngster with jolting joints?
I have a 2yo native pony, whose hind fetlock joints keep jolting back into place. He is not un sound, happily walk, trots, canters and gallops round the field. Occasionally his joints also make a twanging sound front and hinds He is a healthy weight, lives in at night out in the day.
I have seen a few similar articals suggesting that it is the ligaments going over the bone and the twanging is trapped air. He has recently had a growth spurt grown in height and developed more bone, could it be that the ligaments haven't stretched but his bone has?
Any info is greatly appreciated
