Was thinking about phoning up about a 15h TBx I have seen advertised for sale. 15h is a wee bit small for us. Would you expect a 4 year old tb x to grow much?

Depends how well he has been done up till now - if he's been well fed you'd be lucky to get an inch - if however you wanted to keep him 15 hands for showing you can guarantee he'd shoot up at least 2!!

you'd expect a little bit more growth but mainly filling out. Although flash was measured at 14.2 when he had just turned 4 and he's 15h now less than a year on!

So possibly 1 - 2 two inches seems the general concensus. May be worth a look then. TBH most horses I have looked at havent turned out to be the size they were advertised at anyway!

hope the one your goingto visit is bigger then!

As someone else said its more likey to fill out more and get more muscle, and in a way the muscle makes them taller

mines 15.3ish but doesnt look his height because he is lacking muscle

Depends what the other 1/2 is.
My youngsters are done really well but some have still grown 1-2 inches from 4-6.
On the other hand ive had some not grow past two.
