i am extremely pissed off!!!! I understand that farmers are on water meters and that water so be treated with respect. But our farmer who owns are livery yard, has stopped us from using the hose for things such as bathing. A notice was put up on the board that hose pipes were only to be used for baths before show and nessecary situations. But as every yard has the bitch, she has hidden the hose pipe with out the farmers permition, and my horses leg was swollen a little today and i needed to use the hose to reduce the swelling, but the bitch had hidden it, many people at my yard have horse with tendon, daily clayed legs, sweet itch ect... have requested for it back. And today we had a polite notice left on the board by the lovley bitch ' sorry you are not aloud the hose pipe because there are 2 people that take the piss!!' this was aimed at me and my friend who compete weekly mine has white socks, and hers is a grey so obviously we dont want them looking like scruffs. we have spoke to the farmer but atm he is rather busy with hay ect... What should we do.........????????????? HELP!!!

Get the bitch kicked out for a start lol, keeping horses on a livery yard can be hard enough without people like that. And just buy your own hose and bring it home with you when you leave?

I'm a farmer on a water meter too. Not being funny here but with amount of water we use for water troughs and during milking etc, the water that you would use to hose legs off and bath once a week etc would be negligible to our bill. Water bill for us is already £1200 ish a month. We use vast amounts of the stuff, none of that wasteful either.

Seems a bit petty of them if you ask me.

I agree with Daphnelia, buy your own hose, it's very petty but hopefully yard B###h will get the message and stop being such an a###hole. And make sure you let everyone else borrow it except her!
