your best horsey times ?

i think my best times were as a young teenager when there were about 5 of us all the same age with all the same type of horses,ie height,abillity etc
we use to do the most fun and silliest things with our gs and all show in the same classes and jumping,we would all pile in the lorry and go all over doing xc,sj and sponsored rides without a care in the world and balls of steel,we would then all go off bareback and hat less down the road for a big swim in the river or swim through our river,it was such fun i really miss them times.and dont see any of the girls anymore

what do you miss or do atm that you love doing with your horses ???

arrr dont you'll make me all depressed!!

I too used to love every weekend and school holidays being dropped down the stables first thing and causing mischief all day with my friends.

When we had the really bad foot and mouth a few years back and all the bridleways etc were closed,, me and my friends rode down a busy town high street into a local playground and used the playing field to ride on and the picnic benches as schooling fences!! untill a scary lady threatened to call the police hhehe

ahhh the things we used to get up to...such fab little ponies we had too...

Best time, being 14 and all my mates having horses and going swimming in the river and bombing about everywhere. Such simple fun that I think lots of kids miss out on nowerdays...
I sound old!!
