Your cobs...how much bone?

Never known anything measure more than 11 inches. The fattest part of my calf is 13 1/2 inches. Your cob must be huge. But even if he doesn't have much feather, you'd be surprised at how thick the fur is there at this time of year.

Will remember to do it later and pull it tight......... bless his cotton feathers!

Measured baby cob the other night, he's not three yet. Just over 9", he's gone up an inch in the last year.

What age do their legs stop expanding?

OK so I forgot to measure him again!! And I put refelective straps on his legs because he went out for a walk... will try to find a pic of his legs, but hard to show without the tB stood next to him for comparison!

my gypsy vanner cob has 10" forelimb and 10.5" hindlimbs, he also has a 50" girth and is built like a brick s***house! Plus, before anyone comments, he isn't overweight vet tells me he "just about the perfet weight" ... :D
