I was hacking home from a riding club evening the other night with my friends and it was late (9pm) and we were having a canter to get home quick across the moor...and you know when your cantering and get to an open space and just let them go... gives me an amazing feeling. Almost takes my breath away a bit

Firstly love the siggie haha!

No matter what is happening with work/family the best thing in the world for me is to have a long canter through this huge field nr me. All my worries just seem to blow away in the wind. Horses are deffo therapy!

haha thanks!
Yeah nothing better than a blast really makes you forget everything for a minute...or until they spook and you fall off hehe

It's an awesome feeling cantering up an open field with the wind in your hair...my fave feeling is going round the gallops as fast as possible with my friend and her ponio

A good gallop- definately the best thing ever, better than chocolate, men and sleep (which i rate quite high). When i was having a really rough year or two and was often depressed i would just take the mare i looked after out for a whizz round the woods or a gallop on a field, or if it was late even a quick canter up the lane (after warming up, obv) and i'd feel so much better and ready for the next day. God i miss being able to do that!

Jumping BIG fences on a horse that just takes you and FLIES. I love galloping but racing and thrashing my opponent

Husband had totally fallen out with his previous horse who was a sweetie but neurotic so I took him out for a blast over some stubble with my hunter. He wasn't convinced, but I knew there was nothing for her to spook at and all the space necessary if he lost control.
The look on his face when his mare reached top speed and just stayed there without pulling or trying to run off with him was worth more than a million red rosettes
