We've had your fave smells so what's your fave sounds?

Mine would be eating hay and the clip clop on roads when out hacking (trotting I think always sounds better than walking for some reason Lol!)

Over to you :D

Horses galloping flat out enjoying themselves. Can't beat the sound of thundering hooves in my opinion :)

The little blows bailey does when he's cuddling me, soft little 'phhhhhhhssssss' blows on my neck :-) wish I could record the sound to play to send me to sleep!!

The whinny she does when she hears my voice. Then when she sees me, she stretches her head right up and curls her lip up.
Not sure what the significance of it is.

One of my horses always shakes when she gets up and makes a funny grunting noise when she does it which always makes me smile.
My other horse had a hobday/tie back operation years ago and as a result she has a very quiet and squeaky whinny that's sounds ridiculous coming from such a big horse. It's unique to her and I love that I would know her whinny anywhere.
However I'm not currently enjoying the horsey sounds coming from my neighbour's field. They must have weaned or separated a horse the day before yesterday as it has been neighing and calling constantly for two days and I've been awake for most of the last two night listening to it. At 3am my horses started calling back so I nipped out and threw them some hay as if it was keeping me awake they must have been keeping all our neighbours awake too and it was worse when my girls joined in. It's heartbreaking though hearing the other horse so upset.

Cantering on grass and those old petal over reach boots.

When it's horrible outside and the sound of them contentedly munching all cosy.

The deep wuffle hello melts my heart every time.

Mine also has a very expressive snort that makes me smile, especially if she snorts with her head in a bucket!

Bella 's whinny, it sounds like a chuckle.
The noise their lips make as they grab for something
The snort they make when they are chilling in the field.

My daughters pony at a show! He gets so excited but not in a shrieking way, He just calls but in his excitement stops dead half way through the neigh! It's the weirdest but cutest thing ever!
