This is my little man; taken in 1977. He was called "Iceberg" and was a pony in a million, yes they DO exist!
He never put a foot wrong with my very novice self, whatever he did be it hunting with everyone hooning around him, or squeezing up against the hedge for a tractor to go past in a narrow lane, to pony club & shows, he just carried me sooohh very safely.
He had to be PTS after a field accident in 1985, I still miss the little man; now as an "older rider" I miss him especially as he'd be ideal for me now! Having said that I am lucky in that I DO have two lovely horses right now.... but this little one was a very special little man
