Your first rug!

I think I had the same one, 'cept mine didn't have a brand name on it, I think it cost about £30...
 
Another worldbeeter NZ blue canvas with a leather and canvas roller surcingle and clips on the backleg straps that could slice your fingers off! Pony used to crawl out of it on the days he thought he didn't need to wear it would be totally intact in the middle of the field and him on the other side ;)
 
It was a purple weatherbeeta fleece that came with matching travel boots for £25 at a county show for Pharaoh. Then a few months later I bought a bright blue rhinegold lightweight tunout for £15 at Hoys which suprisingly lasted really well, infact the only reason I stopped using it was because he outgrew it!
 
Yes A 5 foot 3" jute with bright pink lining & 2 fantastic leather buckles at the front. it is over 25 years old now, fits nothing & has mouse holes, but is still hung in my garage roof as i can't bear to part with it.

No such thing as tail flaps, neck covers or movement pleats then, oh and a grey blanket lining :p

At £ 60 it cost me a weeks wages :p

This wasn't my first rug - that was a really cheap green canvas NZ but I did get the Greenham flax rug and was really proud of it.
 
A jute rug with a roller and a couple of blankets when it got really chilly!!! But for turnout just a single waxed new zealand!!!
