Seeing as this is now a month away and tickets are cheaper in advance- was wondering if anyone went last year and was it any good? Thanks

I like it, worked at it as arena party for 3 years! It's good for shopping and bargins. Demo's can get busy especially in the smaller arena so best to find a seat early. I think it's worth the money

thanks for that- was it rammed to walk round or generally ok to get about? I'm a little bit claustrophobic in REALLY busy conditions, but xmas shopping style conditions are ok!.

I went last yr - the Monty Roberts Evening was Amazing!
It was busy in parts, but Xmas shopping in Oxford can get much worse! At least you dont get pushed into the path of a double decker bus!

There is a good shop and drop too for aching arms! :D

I found quite a few brilliant bargains! :D Wool Stable rug - £10, yes please!
Brand new english bridle with hunter noseband - £50 - thank you!
and ariat close contact leather 'posh' chaps for my dressage - £50 - Kerching!

Loved it - Some of the smaller size rings can get busy during peak times (oliver townend and the like) - but i would say deffo worth a visit - Also with it being at stoneleigh - traffic was a breeze :D

I LOVE your horse live, have been every year since it started as used to be the equine event.

Brilliant for shopping and to get advice from feed companies etc and you can always get lots of free feed samples.

Demo's are fantastic, although smaller arena can get busy. Just remember that you'd pay more than the ticket price to see even one of these riders so very good value for money IMO

Yes it does get busy but seems to be quieter on the Saturday morning, if you get there before it starts and then do shopping first (they have shop and drop points - money to charity) and then demo watching once it gets busy.

I'm excited already.....!! Don't even think, just go, you'll love it :)

Agree with the above- I love it. Also agree that Sat morning is better for shopping as tends to get busier as the day goes on. Enjoy!

Any good? . . . . . Heck yeah :D

This will be my 3rd time of going and this year daughter is coming with me. Tickets are booked and paid for so just waiting for them to arrive.

Last year I got my youngest a Milton jacket with fleece lining for £9 :D Original price tag on it? £45  So needless to say I said thank you very much :p :D

Demos are by top riders so very much worth a visit as is the rare breeds village :)

I'm going!!!! Hubby has a trade stand.

I've been once as a spectator and loved it, and last year we had a stall but I still managed to catch some demos and have a walk round the shops!

I love your horse live!!! :)

The shopping is amazing and the displays are really good, one year they had Geoff Billington and I don't think I had laughed so much!! :D

Who are the main demos this year? In the past Carl Hester has been on and it has been worth the ticket price just for that. Great bargains in clothes, end of season rugs, "things."

I have gone nearly every year since it started, and it has changed a bit, I liked the more technical things years ago, now the trade stand holders generally have to be selling something as the stand space is so expensive (unless policy has changed.) There used to be a lot more breed societies but now only a few. Generally some really interesting and useful demos. You have to plan your day around what you want to see in the demos/arenas otherwise you find you have spent the whole day shopping and haven't seen anything.

It is still great, and I am going again this year.

Which stand is it? You never know you may get lots of HHOers coming over to say hi :p :D

Only got a visit from one HHOer last year, same at burghley, I think HHOers are a shy bunch in real life...... either that or we need a secret handshake/signal......

It is an art stall Mark Langley Fine Artist, last year we were in the big hall near the small arena, this year we're paying even more money to be inside near the main arena so we don't get wet!!!

I think it's your partners stand that has I painting of the head/neck of a bay horse with a white blaze. I loved it because it really looked like my mare that I lost in 2008 xx

Used to go regularly when it was the Equine Event but when they dropped the breed stands it was just the Royal crammed into one hall.Went back when they had the Natural Horsemanship Day but they dropped that so haven't been since

Lucinda & Clayton Fredericks are there this year along with Maria and Michael Eilberg, [removed], Mary Wanless and Geoff Luckett and there are a few others there as well

Should be something for everyone

We've been most years since it started, last year we went to Olympia for a change which was nice but we'll be back at Your Horse Live this year. I can't seem to find out which demos are on which days though so I can't decide whether to go on the Sat or Sun,

i did the MR/KM demo 2 years ago and loved it. went on the sunday last year and it seemed a bit quiet? will be going again this year though - love the demos!
