Just had an e-mail to say the tickets for Your horse live are on sale now.

Its only on Sat/Sun 14/15th November.

We went up last year on the Friday.

Does anyone know why they are only doing it for 2 day rather than the 3

:O I only went for one day last year, but was planning on doing the full weekend this year. Shame its only two days

Are you going?

I guess because they didn't get any more people through the doors over 3 days than they had over 2 days previously. That was the opinion of the standholders too. It was more pleasant for the people there as there was more room, but not good for the standholders who had to pay more for the space, extra staff time, etc.

With the "credit crunch" I expect they are just being careful.

My thoughts exactly.

They sent a questionnaire to all the Stand holders last year asking if we all wanted it to stay as 3 days or go back to 2. As I understand it most stands took the same money (or nearly the same) over 3 days as they did over 2 so imagine most votes would have been to go back to 2. It obviously would save on hotel bills etc.

We didn't really mind either way as it was nice that it wasn't so frenetic but my guess is the need for profits won!

I was on a stand there 2 years ago, Friday was a complete waste of time. The stallholders just need to watch their costs I guess.

Thank heavens they've gone back to the old format - It put us off having a stand there when it went to three days as the amount of people passing through was the same just diluted to the three days instead of two and three days cost more (in terms of over night accommodation for staff etc) - May consider returning there then
