As the title really. I'm going tomorrow. Is it all outside? or is some of it indoors? What on earth should I wear or take?

Hello

I am going as well - Its all Indoors, however when you are watching the demo's it can be cold.
I would wear a fleece as you will be dry but just for to be warm!

Im going sunday, cant wait, I would suggest comfy shoes for all the walking and a jacket you can carry when indoors but slip on for watching demos......

Well its all indoors, but can be a bit of a trek from car park to coaches, i'll be doing my normal YHL outfit - layers! thin long sleaved t-shirt underneath a thick material T-shirt with a fleece jacket on top + jeans and thick socks (watching demos can get cold on the feet!). i'll have a pair of comfy waterproof yard boots on, as i think its going to be quite wet in the car park if current weather forecasts for this weekend are right.

You'll love it, one of my favourite horses days out.

Yes Judging on the amount of rain we have had in Warwickshire over the last few days I think we all maybe towed off the field for Parking. So if you have a 4x4 guys, suggest you use it.

Have a good time

Was muddy on the car park last year

Don't think it was too bad inside last year, but I remember it being freezing outdoors. Like someone else said there's a fair walk from the car park to the sheds, and once you're there you need to walk outside briefly to get to the other barns. I'm there on Sunday - can't wait!!

eeeek am going tomorrow and have just realised that if it is muddy my car will defo get stuck - it's the opposite of a 4x4!! Might have to steal OH's car, doesn't matter if that gets covered in mud, hee hee

Lots of layers, and a waterproof coat, and shoes/boots that you can walk in!!

The fields get muddy, and you have to walk a bit to get to the entrance. The cattle sheds can be mighty cold, so be prepared for the cold!! Although, forecast here is wet but 14 - 15 degrees which isn't freezing

As others have said yes it is indoors, or mostly is but it is not warm centrally heated indoors. If you feel the cold (at all) make sure you wrap up warm.

Better to go and stand outside for 5 mins to cool down than spend the entire day cold.

Yep something warm and waterproof on your feet is a must especially for the walk to and from the car park, puddle jumping is always required and last year several areas of "path" turned into new lakes after evening bit as it was torrential rain through out.
Thing is when you're in the crowds on the shopping stands it gets quite hot and you'll have bag loads of shopping to carry so whatever top layer you take make sure it folds up small and is light to carry, so fleeces are ideal.
Hope everyone has a good journey there to as the weather is meant to be awful.
OH and indoors really means inside the cattle sheds which are about as warm and cosy as your average indoor school

I wear what I would to the yard on a cold wet winters day - jeans, with tights / leggings underneath, a tshirt, fleece and warm waterproof coat - oh and boots rather than shoes! It is all indoors, but you do have to go outside between areas and the walk from the car park last year was really wet and muddy... previous years it wasn't too bad but they put the car park in a different field last year..

I'm going tomorrow for the 5th time ina row and can't wait!!

It is indoors, but in cow sheds/barns. It will be COLD. But dry inside. Having said that when I went as a spectator I got wet feet trying to get from car to inside in trainers so wear boots.

Watching the demos can be pretty cold, especially when they open doors to outside so take more jumpers than you think you will need.

Take lots of money too, as I'm on a trade stall this time and want to have a busy day!

Oh and last time I went loads of people were getting towed off, but we were ok in my Mx5!!!

This year were taking the big guns, hubby's off roader that survived Burghley 2008 - the ancient polo........
