I'm going on the Saturday, I also wasn't going to go but decided I had to! I have no money and technically no horse to buy for, but I bet I'll spend loads

I am going on Friday with my friend from the yard - is the shopping good then?!!

By all accounts. I've never been but I have heard several people say it has the best selection of stands of any event.

I'm going on Saturday and staying for the evening demo with Geoff Billington. My shopping list is huge, I'm hoping they provide trolleys for the shopping otherwise my arms are going to be 6ft long

I save up all year for what used to be called the Equine Event

Looking forward to blowing about 650 on delightful horsey stuff for my boys this time, can't wait! Mmmmmmmmmm, new rugs... breeches... long boots... rugs... more rugs.....!

Crikey I'd love to have £650 to spend there! £100 would do (actually £10 would do this year!)
I spent about £500 (un-intentionally) last year as I had just bought Maiden and needed loads of winter rugs and stuff. It was just fab going round not being able to carry all my shopping, such fun! I think the "shop and drop" guy had a heart attack when he saw the amount of stuff we wanted to drop off with him

My shopping list is one item long this year, although I'm bound to buy more than that!

I'm going on the Friday and taking my other half (poor bugger). I think it is the best place for horsey shopping, not such a rip off like at Olympia and Badders etc.

Yup, I'm going!
Going up saturday afternoon, staying in a hotel down the road, getting very dwunk, then going to YHL the next day

It's definitely the best shopping event I think - far better bargains than Badders or Olympia.

We've been every year (including one year many years ago when they originally started it at Wembley) but they've never had trollies - which we also feel would be very useful, but if you get there early enough, there are lockers you can hire out to go back and forth to put your shopping in - it will at least save having to carry it from stall to stall.
