Maybe I could pretend the present horse I have is just OH's rather than a share. They'd probably want a bit more able rider than me though and also a bit more interesting competition wise - not sure the few jumps I do in the menege would pull in the readers

I have the magazine, though haven't entered. Every year they seem to choose someone quite marketable. Someone who competes and wants a horse to take them up the levels. I'm happy just enjoying my horse and plodding along to local shows. Don't think they'd be interested!

I didn't know there was another competition on! Will have to find out, I'd really like to enter. I can afford to keep another horse, but my horse fund is only up to £2k as yet. Do you think my sob story would work (horse injured, need new one to go and do everything with that I now can't do with current one)?!
