Your horse's work load/turn out time ... ?

linx is turnout everyday from whenever in the am (7am if im working or after riding) then until 5/6pm unless weather is really awful but if stays in he will be excercised on vet recommendations because he's at risk of colic.

i try & ride 2/3 times during the week hopefully (crosses fingers) he will go for a ride through the fields (weather dependent) once a week or in the school twice if fields not possible doing flatwork 1 day & pole work the other then lunged on an evening.
 
Mine is out 24/7 from April to Nov, rest of year he's in at night. His turnout during the day in the winter is usually 7.30am to about 4pm which gets progressively longer as the days get longer. He's ridden about 5 - 6 times a week throughout the year - luckily there's an indoor school so no excuse not to!!

What is your horses workload,-schooling,competition every other weekend med dressage,did some showing and jumping too.ridden everyday,often twice a day.also did hacking and a gallop once a week on the beach.

And how is this balanced with your horses turn out?turned out everyday for about 6 hours

Do you find your horse hots/sharpens up if not turned out regulary?yes,gets very hot if she hasnt had some turnout.
