Your horsey christmas list!

I am a bit early, but I'm just a bit curius what's on your horsey christmas list so far!

Is there anything new out there that is a must-have or the perfect christmas present for a horsey friend? I need some idea's!
 
Oh god I've given my partner a whole list of things I want for myself & my horsey.

Nice new saddle
a new riding hat
New body protector
some riding boots
Some nice rugs

List goes on :)
 
I want books, but they'are in french so they won't give you specific ideas. :D
And long reins lessons would be great!
A nice saddlecloth with my horse's name on it.
 
New riding hat for competing as getting new horse in few weeks so hopefully be out and about again.

Oh and anything else that I really need for old boy and new pony :)
 
New saddle
Some new rugs - we need to collect some spares for when his are to wet and mucky to put on the next day:rolleyes:
Grooming kit - He's still stuck with my pony's pink brushes and gets laughed at by his friends:o
Some fancy boots for the horse
Some new riding boots for mum
Possible new show jacket
And of course lots and lots sweets - for both of us;)
 
I want Tinner backed! Well, I've alraedy decided that he's going away to be backed in Feb or March, and so have said to OH to keep Christmas presents low as the backing will be costly. I do really want a metal detector though - every week a lovely elderly man pops into the shop to show us his latest finds, the 3,500 year old bronze axe head I saw tonight was just wonderful, and the 10,000 year old neolithic flint scrapers were amazing too.
 
Lady who runs the local tack shop said she always tells husbands/boyfriends to buy their OH's gloves! They are nice, and very useful..and I hate buying them for myself, because I always think I could use that money for a lesson or towards a hat/bridle etc :p

But in an ideal world:
Riding hat

Chaps and boots..my ariats are so worn that you can see my socks through them. Chaps have flaps pretty much :p

And a sheepskin girth sleeve for the TB who is sore over his whole girth area :(
 
I'd love some denim jods, wanted some last christmas too but oh decided that i should have purple ones to match my puffa so i ride out looking like a grape :O
 
Equilibrium magnetic quarter pad, but think I will end up getting that myself next month anyway :)

I quite fancy an embroided saddlecloth with pony's name on it, but part of me thinks it might be a bit sad given that I am 24 and a happy hacker!

There is nothing else he or I really need ... I might see if anything takes my fancy at Horseworld Live or Olympia, but otherwise it'll just be a stocking of treats for the pony!
 
Considering the fact that hay has gone up $50 a round bale since last year ... nobody is getting anything. :mad: :(
 
A horse please! Been looking since May and had one fail vetting and another the seller pulled out. Think I might have to wait til the new year....
 
I'd like a hatcam.

But most of all I'd like a job. And for Idiotpony's owners to move him to a yard with a floodlight arena otherwise once I get a job I'll be forced to say goodbye! :( And everyone on the yard is lovely so they need to come too!
 
I want, I want, I want........oh sorry that should read, I would like:)

A new leather head collar.
New xc set (for me not the horse).
New wellies:)
