Your 'horsey' song

My old horse was CLub Foot by Kasabian, or something by Muse.

My current boy - American Boy by Estelle when I first bought him, he just moves like that.
Electric Feel by MGMT when we do dressage, and Sweet Disposition by Temper Trap. When we jump it's Vlad the Impaler by Kasabian - more to psych me up!!!

And Electric Dreams by Phil Oakey, for some reason makes me think of my horse.

I have loads of different ones! Sometimes it's just certain lyrics from a song!

Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars
Westlife - Us against the world and What about now
I'm yours - Jason Mraz
Beyonce - Halo
Kesha - Your love is my drug

That's just a few! :)

Thank you Arabella - I too sing 3 wheels on my waggon when I hack out Perzka, but your post prompted me to google the lyrics so now I can sing the whole thing and not just the same verse over and over, just changeing the number of wheels! Whether Perzka thanks you too is another matter!!!! lol
Other favourites are Nelly the elephant and the Grand Old Duke of York btw:)

When I was younger I used to watch the black stallion tv series, and the theme tune was my horsey song for the pony I used to ride. He wasn't mine, but I saw him every week, and did everything with him. He was amazing and taught me more than anyone else ever managed to!!!!

AND I just found a taster on the net!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! (am sobbing now though!!!!)

Hope the link works for anyone else who remebers this and wants to take a trip down memory lane!!!!

When my loan ponies owners came to pick him up, our farrier was at the yard with the radio on and mine & Bobbys song was on, made that moment about 10 times worse :(

Was Enrique Iglesias (sp?) - Let me be your hero :(

It used to be 'because your gorgeous' by Babybird until I realised that the lyrics were a bit rude :p Now it's definately 'Can't help falling in love with you' - but it has to be the folksy Lick the Tins version :)

My big fella is 'let the river run' - Carly Simon - it was his 'demo' dressige to music...

My late Welshie - My Way - Frank Sinatra - Was the end of his real DTM and summed him up perfectly. cry every time I hear it now.

Sec. A - BAt out of hell.... says it all really.

Blitz

muse - knights of cydonia

I love riding to it and my horse you looked for the horses when you hear the galloping horses at the start, plus the riff in the middle great to canter round to

Benjis - Dreamer by Ozzy Osbourne
Bronko - I'm a believer
Boo - I'm gunna live forever
Wizard - wake me up before you go go

my general yard song is either The voice within by Christina Aguilera or Radio by The Corrs

Nik Kershaw - "wouldn't it be good". I heard this yesterday, and memories of me and my beautiful chestnut flooded back..must have been 1986/7. That song says horses to me, I love it !! The grass is always greener.........hehe!!

Another one is Avalon, Roxy music - all the rage when I was a kid working on a very large muck heap for nowt. Kept having to spit it out while lifting it into a tall skip, nice memory.

And gloria gaynor I will survive - the theme tune at the crazy pony centre I went to (just hang onto the mane, you'll be fine).... God how old am I :D sm x

I have three that remind me of my lad I lost last year
Sam Sparrow - Black and gold, his trot was in perfect time to this.
Iris by the goo goo dolls - listen to the first verse it is perfect, in fact the entire song is.
Dice by finlay quaye - I was crying over you, I am smiling I think of you. When I heard this line I knew I was ready to accept he was gone and I could move on but never forget.

Norah Jones - Sunrise

Evanescence - Bring me to life ...... (my boy does just that .. he is my horsey soulmate)
