Well no mention of the gorgeous alaskan malamute I have but surprisingly it said my top dog was a finish spitz (same family and a dog I have actually always liked!) no idea how a bullmastif made it to number 4 and I got a Finnish laphund as my 2nd choice guess they are just everyones almost ideal dog!! Still think mine is prettier though ;):)

Rhodesian Ridgeback-top and never thought of it
Bracco Italiano (gundog, that will do!)
Hungarian Vizsla (gundog, like it lots!)
Basenji (don't bark-that's my breed!)
Tibetan terrier (mate has one, not too swung)
Hungarian wire-haired vizsla
Sloughi (sp? No idea, will look it up) Ooh, Arabian greyhound, am liking it lots!
Chesapeake Bay Retriever (too much like a lab, not my thing)
Clumber Spaniel (yay!)
Australian Cattle dog

Some very odd breeds that I've never thought of! Having always wanted a Finnish Spitz, I'm a bit gutted no Spitz types came up. :(

I did this survey several years ago before I got Chester, my Border Terrier. It put in my top ten a BT, and I had never really even heard of them before (they're not that common in my neck of where I was from in the US). It also listed Munsterlander as my number 1. I've met a few since, and I'm not mad keen on them! :O

I have actually tried to skew the results by putting in every answer I could in order to make it so that it would give me a poodle in the results (eg non-shedding, smart, active etc) and no matter what, for love nor money - it would never give a poodle in the results! I think the survey is anti-poodle!!!! LOL

I have one anyway...and he's fab.

Weimaraner 20
Bullmastiff 19
Bracco Italiano 17
Bloodhound 16
Great Dane 15
Neapolitan Mastiff 15

I have an English Mastiff and 2 JRT's, I would like another big dog so mine can have company that I dont need to worry about him squashing so thought this would generate some interesting information. I have had a St Bernard, never again!!! Would love a Great Dane :p
