We've made it back to NI for a bit, so taking advantage of beaches being (relatively) nearby and catching up with friends!

Oh what a cutie! Ted is also a fiend for a squeaky balls, I might buy shares in them...

We’re off to the Cotswolds this weekend to do lots of walking and eating. I’ll consider the weekend a success if I have at least one cream tea a day.

Mostly we have been settling Jem's new BFF Jessie into the routine.If I am working she has decided the best place for random fuss and cuddles is right next to my desk.

And when the work is all done she and Jem are doing a bit of this, posing for pics and learning that it is good to stick around and not run for the hills the minute we get into the fields! Jem on the left of the pic and little Jessie on the right. I am so lucky to have found myself these two gorgeous girls and even more lucky that they actually like each other

This time of year all the dogs do is dog in. Dawn until about mid day usually. They love it.
The first lap of the boundary is done on foot and after that we take the wheels. It is ridiculous having them all in the front.

I do have adventures but sadly no pictures - I’m hoping to change that soon!

Cue one owner BURSTING with pride last night at training when my trainer said “I think Millie is ready to compete - do you want to try the winter league?”

I cannot begin to say how happy I am, how proud of my psycho little manic lurcher I am, and how grateful I am to all those lovely HHOers who suggested I tried scent work training with her!

I really hope to get photos at her first comp later this month ?
