I don't spend much time at the yard in winter!
Morning - arrive about 6.30am. Change rug and chuck out. Quick muck out, 5 mins usually.
Evening - arrive about 8.30pm. Put bed down, chuck out old hay and grab a fresh armful. Refill water bucket and make feed. Bring him in (this is what takes a while, especially when I forget my "big torch"!). He eats his tea while I change his rug and pick out feet.
Thats once he's in. Just now I nip up in the morning to change his rug, and go back in the evening and freeze at the field gate while he eats his tea!
