He's 2 years 7 months, Welsh section D.

Not looking at how he's put together I just hack and my mare is wrong I so many ways to others.. Splints etc, btshehad kind eyes and even as a foal when I got her lived her eyes..... He has gorgeous kind eyes, he looks honest and genuine :)

Is he close enough to go and visit without any pressure? It's a shame that he's got his bum closer to the camera in the 11 months old photo, but nothing awful jumps out.

Bless him he looks to be going through a bit of a growth spurt from those photos!! Mine went through some awful cut n shut stages!!
The younger photo shows a lovely back end, possibly slightly back at the knee (mine is as well - WelshxTB).
Lovely colour and I am sure he will grow into a very smart boy - enjoy!!!

He looks lovely to me but I noticed he looks like he has a white 'splodge' on his belly, I don't know much about Welsh D's so don't know if it would be a flaw if you wanted to show him? Not that it would bother me ;)

Oh he's just lovely- my dream pony. You are very lucky! There's nothing better than a nice Welsh D.

He's exactly what i've always wanted, I wasn't looking just happened to see him on a Facebook page. Really hope it doesn't fall through, but we will see, won't get my hopes up until he's in my spare stable lol.

Got to say with out seeing in flesh i like. he has a bit of wow factor for me. ok cant see confirmation up close but off photos if produced nicely I see i very nice horse :) mmm i like

Has nothing to do with dam dying, but yes you can registar him with the welsh society just go onto their website. On his Sire ped he's well bred.

Thanks for that, I have had a quick look and looks straightforward enough. I would look to register him if I do get him.

FP05 - he is 14.2 at the moment, would hope he'd make 15hh+ ideally.

He didn't 'grab' me straight away then I realised he's bred the same as my old lad was, Nebo on both sides, mine was by Nebo Prince (who's by Nebo Daniel) out of a mare by Daniel, same colouring which is very prepotent I believe. My lad was 15hands and very quirky and sharp. He was about 13 yrs here...

He's very handsome, thanks for sharing :)

He doesn't look at all straight in the shoulder to me. From what I remember, shoulder angle starts from the point of the shoulder to the top of the wither (where you measure the height). Base of neck is not the angle of shoulder or has it changed since I was taught?

He's really lovely and reminds me of my Lloyd who was virtually the same colour with even the 4 white socks and the same white tummy splodge. Mine was bred by Bob Newman in Cookham who bred some fine sec Ds. Everyone always said my Lloyd had a Rolls Royce engine in a cob's body :) He was well oversized at nearly 16hh. He went on to train in Spanish high school work at the age of 14 yrs old and he excelled at it. I owned from 9 months old until he was 14.
