Ok this is my daughter's pony. I bought him for her to have fun on and enjoy horses. So far he's proving himself to be just what I wanted.
I am thinking about taking him to the odd inhand class this year to get him out and about and then if he's ok (read quiet) doing LR classes next year when daughter is 3
Now I know on the photo he's stood with his hind leg turned out (this is his lazy standing and he does stand up straight, I just need to be stood in front of him with his bribe)
But looking at him what do you think of his confo in general?

If you're just planning on local you don't have much to lose whether he places or not! It's a fun day and will be educational for him :)

He's put together ok actually. The one thing that stands out to me is he looks a bit droopy round his mid section. Like he's sagged in the middle. He'd benefit from some work on his core muscles, so his back strengthens up and his stomach lifts a bit. Cute little guy though.

I see what you mean, hopefully that will improve when he's in work. He's off to pony school at the end of the month, so far all he does is get cuddled by mini me and takes her for a tootle up the lane and back, with the occasional pony out from my horse

Cute as a button! Gorgeous cheeky face! Is a little croup high but thats to be expected when hes not in work, I think some hill work will do him some good. get your mini doing bony pony class nxt year and theyl definatly be coming home with a rosette!

Ah well at 3 ide be more concerned if he wasnt croup high! Hes just got more growing to do! Hes in good shape, getting out to shows will do him the world of good! he may still just qualify for youngstock :)

Oh he's gorgeous! I can't offer much help but I thought he was bum high, as for his leg pointing outward just make sure it's facing forward when showing:D Oh just seen he's 3, explains being bum high.
