Could you give a hypothetical 'how much' for this horse please? Interested to know what people think in regards to his injury affecting his value.

16.1hh (still growing!) grey warmblood 4yr old - showjumping lines both sides.
Backed but very green, lovely nature, loads well, good to catch, handle etc, general all round gentleman.
He has a VERY fat hock from a previous injury. No lameness issues, vet given the all clear to carry on as normal....it just doesn't look very pretty!

So what do you all think?
Coffee and custard creams for all :) :p

£1.5-4k depending on how big the hock is, what caused it, what the bloodlines are, conformation, does he hack at all, has he loose jumped etc etc?

so many variables so imo need more info before anyone can really value.

I will answer what I can of those questions! Yes just started hacking out, yes he loose jumps, IMO good confo. Hock is BIG! It's big enough to be very obvious when you first look at him if you see what I mean!

I think that the hock may be a huge problem - and will knock whatever value he has well and truly down.

Is there any treatment that can be given to reduce the swelling??
