I was contacted through Facebook about a mare someone had for sale. As I've been looking for a horse for a while I enquired some more about the mare.
I went to see her yesterday, and I think she could be lovely with training as she has really expressive paces for a TB. She is a 4 year old TB who has been turned away for the last couple of months living alone in a paddock. I don't think she is fed as IMO she is underweight and lacking any muscle. I would put her as body condition of 1 / 2.
I think she has potential with the right feed and training as I'm looking for a project to eventually compete, hopefully next season but I'm in no rush.
So what do you think? Do you think it's worth taking the gamble on her.. She isn't expensive and has some excellent jumpers/hurdlers in her direct breeding so should jump well. I also love her colour!!

(She has a puffy hock as there is a cut on it - typical sensitive TB!!)
