ok, so Sam got snipped 2 weeks ago :) - this was a triumph as I had to get my parent go ahead before I could take him as although he's mine, I got him from them.

Yesterday, my sister came over - she doesn't mind dogs as long as they're at the back of the room lying down and away from he - and she was amazed and said to me and later to my mum - that he was so good, didn't jump up and shared her daughters carrot. He followed her daughter (14 months) and didn't try to take her chocolate from her once.

Then, today I had him out and a man came to talk to us and other than a couple of woofs, he went to the man and let himself be petted as opposed to hackles raised and growling. And with a dog going mental in a garden, when given a sharp reminder he sat quietly and waited to cross the road.

What have you overcome or achieved lately? mine are small tasks but for us they were major achievements and we're going out with a friend next week to start socialising :)

To some others, this is nothing but to me :D its a major achievement with this big puppy.

Well for me it was taking Darcy to agility and lots of dogs running over to her and barking and her not reacting. When I had her first she was very dog reactive and we have done lots of work with her in the mean time.

that sounds fab and a huge achievement, especially for a reactive dog. Sounds like your both doing super :)

Yep Cayla, this is the same one. As you know I had some concerns as to how I'd get on with him but he's my puppy and lets everyone know it. A huge sap that just needs to know his boundaries. :D I am sooo please we got him castrated though.
