ok, so Sam got snipped 2 weeks ago
- this was a triumph as I had to get my parent go ahead before I could take him as although he's mine, I got him from them.
Yesterday, my sister came over - she doesn't mind dogs as long as they're at the back of the room lying down and away from he - and she was amazed and said to me and later to my mum - that he was so good, didn't jump up and shared her daughters carrot. He followed her daughter (14 months) and didn't try to take her chocolate from her once.
Then, today I had him out and a man came to talk to us and other than a couple of woofs, he went to the man and let himself be petted as opposed to hackles raised and growling. And with a dog going mental in a garden, when given a sharp reminder he sat quietly and waited to cross the road.
What have you overcome or achieved lately? mine are small tasks but for us they were major achievements and we're going out with a friend next week to start socialising
To some others, this is nothing but to me
its a major achievement with this big puppy.
