I just had a call from my vet, who has stained my boys eye again this morning and the ulcer has got slightly smaller in the last 48 hours 
The vet is very happy with the progress ..so so am I!
They are staining it again on Monday, and hopefully if it continues to improve at this rate, he will be home end of next week, if not, the early part of the following week.
I would add pictures if I knew how on this new forum!
Anyway, thanks for the vibes everyone, they are working!!
