YR Team for Kreuth

I thought that when i read it. I guess with Rayef off games they maybe think that Fernhill Sox hasn't had enough runs under his belt since he came back?

Although you'd think with his record that they might've taken a risk but they others have all so very good recent form. Pretty strong team.

But then F.Sox did manage to come 2nd in the YR Final trial

Thrilled Emilys on it -but there wasnt much questioning - both her horses are superb, and P's record is pretty special!

But Yes suprising LCs not there.

- Sad for a friend of mine who owns the other horse of Georgie Spences - Tom, he had a minor set back and couldnt compete at Gatcombe otherwise im sure he would have been on the list. Horses for you!!

Interesting!!
Seeing as Blenheim is obviously an FEI event as well, i wonder how he can be qualified for that, but not the YR champs, which is only a 2* instead of a 3*

I'd been told they (and don't no who they were) were trying to pull strings to get her on the team but could not change rules so pulling even more strings to do blem instead.......

Yeh they F-ed up Colletts qualifications. She managed to get special permission to do Blenheim, because its a 'standard' FEI event, but its a well known fact that the FEI make no exceptions for championships. End of.

The fact that the horse has 3 three day wins to its name no doubt helped their case for Blenheim.

Slightly surprised to see Skylight there, but all good experience. Shame Cavort isnt there though.

and it wouldnt be the first time they have done it either. as Lifeslemons points out there are no exceptions for championships but there is a tiny little bit of BE's small print hat allows anyone one to run in pretty much anything HERE if the selectors wish to see it.
kreuth is a very strong track though so we will need to send a good team to beat the germans on home ground

Glad to see you think track is strong, L

I think the main thing is the angles - you need a really, really honest horse who is straight as a die as there are plenty of runout opportunities.

Skylights there as Tom was injured (only very slightly and could infact have run) boot rub I think, I no the owners wouldnt ever risk him so decided not to run him. Shame as he is a cracking horse!
