i need something in the way of chaff to go with his feed, as i have to put apple c v in and he doesnt like it, and chaff soaks it up. So whats the yummiest and most benefiting chaff i can give him?his mix has most of what he needs in it, but anything like help for hooves joints etc is a bonus!!(i want it to be yummy so he will eat the feed!)

My YO always says she has never met a horse that doesn't like Spillers Happy Hoof. It has pellets in it so it has vits and mins, and I used to feed apple cider vinegar with it and my horse loved it. I think it's great stuff!

Ozzi chaff is lovely and has biotin in it as well as other yummy stuff! It is is molased. It is quite cheap too, under a fiver for a huge bag.

One of mine seemed to go off Happy Hoof a bit after a while, although most seem to like it and it is good for hooves.

Otherwise, purely for tastiness - try Apple Chaff or Cherry Chaff. Dont think there's much nutrition in the apple chaff but the cherry chaff showshine has added oil.

There's also Minty Chaff which smells very tasty... my poor boy is on Hif Fi Good Doer, but that looks and smells yummy as it's full of herbs... he seems to like it

does happy hoof have biotin in it? someone said it was good for hooves....and if it doesnt is it all right to feed with biotin extra?have to admit i was quite tempted to eat some happy hoof myself when i smelt it.....!

I've just started to use gain cool chaff and the horses all love it as it's spearmint flavor! I find biotin is the best for improving hoof quality.

Jim's eating Mollichaff Hoofkind quite happily at the moment & he quite likes Safe & Sound too. I've tried Happy Hoof & Happy Dieter in the past but he isn't keen on them.
