Has anyone looked at whether using horse Green Lipped Mussel powder is more economical than using the dog version?

The riaflex GLM is less than £10pm for my 39kg dog, I was just going to buy the human stuff but it was the same price and I already have a subscription with them for riaflex ha so easier to have it automatically come out to me.Has anyone looked at whether using horse Green Lipped Mussel powder is more economical than using the dog version?

Fot example Horse Herbs sell pure green lipped mussel powder for £22 for 500g. Riaflex recommend feeding a large dog 2g per day....so that works out at £2.75 a month for a dog your size....so yes, there is significant savings to be had especially if you are a multi dog household.
That’s really helpful Thankyou! Have just orderedWill have to find a tiny enough spoon for dosing when it arrives

I keep spoons from every random supplement and medication and usually can find one that works for the given dose! And use a drug scale to check the dose first time
T’s rifle round reloading scales will finally come in useful for me![]()
