Zebra for sale...!

well title says it all really... there is a zebra for sale!
i was just casually browsing adverts for my perfect pony and stumbled across this:

aww how sweet, I honestly never thought the would be pet Zebras' in this country. Could just imagine my YO face bringing back a Zebra Hope the lil man finds a good home

Have to say that although its cute and unusuall, I cant help but feel a little confused (and sad i suppose) as to why someone would have a zebra a a pet, each to thier own though

Yes zebras can be ridden, one lives about 1-2 miles away from me but no way would I pay 10k for it.... You could get yourself a nice jumper/dressage horse for that...... And then tip-ex some white lines on lol :-D

I just think its sad, its a bit like wanting a pet lion. perhaps they can adapt and be good pets/ridden equines, but I for one think we have enough choice and think these beautiful wild horses should be left in their proper environment.

Queenbee - totally agree! It must be so hard to adapt to our climate as it is so different to what they are used to!

100% agree. Much as I think they are beautiful they are wild animals and need room and companionship of their own species.

The zebra is stunning but I personally wouldn't want to own one, agree with QueenBee & FDC on that. I didn't even realise people could own zebras as pets in the UK!

On the back of the mammoth donkey comment - I have seen them for sale while browsing and am totally in love!!
