Awesome race!! Full of drama at the start, but WOW!! She's some filly!! Must say, I'm looking forward to the Street Cry that we have due out of a full sister to High Chaparral!

She was incredible......... shades of Arazi!
Great meeting for the girls....... maybe it might encourge people to race them more........

seems to me there is another candidate for racehorse of the year tbh, marvelous amazing horse, beats all comers all ages, there are not enough good words.
I dont know if my jaw dropped the way it did when arazi won though but this was much more emotional! I am obviously not saying Arazi was a better horse by the way before you all start, just that on that day in that race, i do not believe I had seen anything like the way he cantered from last to first with all the others flat out. but wasnt as emotionally attached to him the way i am to this mare, and she is just amazing.

thank you S_N, what a treat, i never think to look on youtube. I have to say i dont think the camera angle does Zenyatta any favours cos you cant see how far back she is as they turn for home and in the Arazi one the panning shot give a great view of him flying past an excellent field. certainly nothing wrong with the three year old form of pine bluff and bertrando anyway. But it is easy to forget how blinding arazi was that day!
as for Zenyatta, she is just the best! I love sea the stars but there is something about this mare that elevates her to immortality imo.

High hopes for that one then! has a similar cross as Zenyatta in Hail to Reason.
Do you know who they have in mind for Zenyatta herself?

Actually if she went to See The Stars you would be doubling up on Mr P 3x3, just like zarkava's foal will 4x4.
