Dogging is, I presume, the same. 'Dogging in' is something else entirely, and is just using your dog to move pheasants from where they want to go to where you want them to be. :-)
Work love it though when I rush in and say 'Sorry I'm late, I've been dogging in all morning' they skip the 'in' bit as well.:p
